Headquarter's Report: Impossible is Nothing: Attend the Members-only Strategic Planning Meeting at the AuDacity Conference and Help Shape the Future of Audiology

Author: Stephanie Czuhajewski, Executive Director

The hearing healthcare landscape is changing rapidly—creating unprecedented opportunities and challenges for ADA and its members. As technology, public policy, social demands and healthcare economies collide, there is no time like the present to plan and prepare for the future ahead!

To that end, ADA will host a members-only strategic planning session on Saturday, November 12th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, California, in conjunction with the Inaugural AuDacity Conference.

Please make a commitment to attend the ADA Strategic Planning Session. It will be the best investment that you make this year to advance your profession and your practice. Your input is valuable and your participation in this important event will help shape the future of audiology. Please visit audiologist.org/events to register.

While we are there, we will congregate to identify the most worthy goals to pursue together. We will begin to build the path that will lead us to them. And together, we will set in motion the vehicles that will carry us forward. Our goals will undoubtedly be colossal—after all, ADA members make a habit of achieving the impossible!

As Muhammed Ali so eloquently stated, “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

In the midst of disruptive change, ADA’s commitment to its members remains steadfast. Together we will continue to choose our course based on the merits of the destination rather than the ease of the journey. Impossible is nothing for those who dare to succeed. I look forward to seeing you all in San Diego in November.
